Who We Are

Zion is located along the banks of the Maumee River in Waterville, just southwest of Toledo, Ohio. In our 130-year history, Zion has remained vibrant and renewed, reaching out to those in need of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Sunday morning at Zion has been described as “alive”.

What we have to offer

  • Contemporary and Traditional styles of worship
  • Prayer Room in our chapel for those who wish to receive prayer on Sunday mornings.

  • We offer Praise Group, Senior Choir, and Bell Choir with congregational singing. Music is considered one of our core values.

Zion in the community

  • Waterville and the Anthony Wayne school area know Zion for its outreach and its open doors.
  • Zion Christian Preschool is known in our community for its wonderful Christian Education program.
  • Zion hosts ecumenical community Vacation Bible School that attracts many children and volunteers from our community and area churches.
  • For over 40 years, Alcoholics Anonymous has called Zion home.
  • Our buildings welcomes many outside groups.
